Health, Safety and Security
You put your trust in us to care for your child when you can’t. And even though our day is full of giggling and wiggling, we take that responsibility very seriously! We continue to monitor state and local public health guidelines and use our considerable experience to guide our health and safety practices.
Health
Future Heroes Academy staff continue to follow stringent health practices including, but not limited to requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours. Frequent hand washing and sanitizing of high-touch toys and surfaces and training teachers on common signs of illness in children.
All our teachers receive regular training in safety procedures, including emergency and evacuation situations, such as fire or earthquakes. We always follow strict ratio guidelines, ensuring direct supervision of children at all times. Throughout the school, classrooms are equipped with emergency and evacuation supplies. The school also features a defibrillator, designed specifically for infants and children. Each classroom has a designated Safety Captain and all staff are provided CPR and first aid training based on state standards.
Safety
Security
Security starts at the door. Parents have to use a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to gain entry into the building. This enables our staff to monitor and record who drops off and picks up each child daily. Children are released ONLY to those individuals who have been listed on enrollment records and who have been confirmed by identification check. Our facility also features a system of cameras and door alarms on all exterior doors, which allows for comprehensive monitoring at all times.
